Log edge shuffle board table,10 ft play field,custom built in Gallatin, New York
For Sale is a custom built, log edge shuffle board table. It has a 10 ft. playing field. The total length of the table is 140.5" long, 30" wide and 33" tall. This table is from a company out of Palatine Bridge NY. It was previously used in a game room for a house in the Adirondacks so it went with the lodge look. This has been stuck taking up room in a garage since the move and hoping someone will appreciate it as much as we did. It needs to be vacuumed off but is in great shape. Some wear on the one side of the table as you can see from the pictures. I copied a little blurb about it off the companies website. This table was custom built and originally cost $5000.00 so I am asking $2100.00 OBO. This is local pickup only due to the size of it, I don't believe it comes apart, I think it needs to go all in one piece. We are located in Pine Plains, NY, Dutchess county, about 2 1/2 hours north of New York City. I believe w have some pucks to go with it, so if they are located I will throw those in as well.
Survivor Furniture is so named for it's inherent ability to survive regular hard use without failure or disappointment. The rugged construction and durable finish shrugs off the dings and scrapes that destroy lesser furniture. It is crafted from hardwood lumber that we cut on our Turner band sawmill. The logs are recovered from the ash, maple, cherry and birch logs we cut up to heat our shop with. As a result we get many curves, knots and character marks not found on traditional lumber. Many times we include the irregular edges from the very outside of the log, and the finished piece often shows the marks from the sawmill blade. This unique source material, combined with our rugged construction and finishing techniques results in a very rustic appearance, and a solid piece. The surface appears to be rough textured, but is actually very smooth.
